Another city in the region is Aydin, known for its districts of Kusadasi and Didim. Didim has one of Turkey’s most beautiful beaches, Altinkum. The ancient cities of Priene, Miletus, and Didyma are among the major historical places in Didim.
Kusadasi is one of the favorite holiday resorts of the region with its beaches and hotels. Since it is very close to the ancient city of Ephesus, it is widely preferred by tourists for overnight stays.
Aphrodisias Ancient City is also worth visiting place in Aydin. It was registered as a World Heritage Site In 2017.
